INQP 2023

PDF

Hello, everyone.

The Indiana QSO Party [INQP] is coming up this Saturday, May 6th, and will be at the FOP on the westside of Evansville, 5417 N Happe Rd (https://goo.gl/maps/1Mn7HvAyxWLW4Jy69).  Everyone is welcome, members and non-members alike, so please spread the word and join us for a day of contacts and camaraderie.

The INQP runs from 10am-10pm central time.  We will have 1 CW station and 1 SSB station for use during the event with setup beginning around 8am that morning.  This would be a great opportunity for those new to amateur radio to get some hands-on experience setting up antennas, stations, and asking questions.  So new hams please join us!

Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided for lunch.  Club members are invited to bring a side dish of your choosing to share.

Please plan on joining us for the 2023 INQP.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Duane, K3LWD

2023 Winter Field Day

PDF

2023 Winter Field Day

Winter Field Day is coming up fast! If you've not participated in WFD in the past (and we can't blame you if you haven't since it's not always fun to be out in the cold) we hope you'll join us on January 28 for this fun event! We'll be inside this year (in the shelter house at Scott Township Park - the same place where we operated the INQP last spring) so hopefully we won't be quite as chilly as in years past!

Google Map for Scott TWP Park: CLICK HERE

Set-up at 9:00am and Chris KE9YK will have bean soup with cornbread at NOON and you are welcome to bring any snacks and such you might want.

I believe we will have coffee available and you might want to bring a drink

So what say all of you? Do you plan to participate in the W9OG WFD operation? Everyone (hams and non-hams, club members or not) are welcome to join us. Let's have some radio fun!

Check the rules on Winter Field Day at:  https://www.winterfieldday.com/
