Heads up anyone thinking of taking a Technician exam!
It’s that time again; yes the Technician Pool (Element 2) will have new questions at 12:01 AM July 1 2010. In past years candidates at our VE sessions have indeed studied the wrong material for their new license, and even upgrades to a higher class license. Please don’t become a statistic, study the correct material for the class of license you seek.
Here is the current schedule for question pool changes:
Technician class (Element 2) Pool is effective July 1, 2006 and is valid until June 30, 2010.
General class (Element 3) Pool is effective July 1, 2007 and is valid until June 30, 2011.
Extra class (Element 4) Pool is effective July 1, 2008 and is valid until June 30, 2012.
