[From the IN ARES Group]
Hello Indiana amateur radio groups,
The 2012 Central Indiana Severe Weather Symposium is rapidly approaching, and registration is open. For those who have not attended one before, the CISWS is a biennial all-day weather information session for spotters and weather enthusiasts, providing interesting and informative speakers on various severe weather related topics. This year's symposium will be held on Saturday, March 10th, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with registration sign-in and breakfast beginning at 7:15 AM.
The agenda is still being finalized, but confirmed speakers as of this time include The Weather Channel's Mike Bettes, and nationally-known tornado damage expert Tim Marshall, along with Fox 59's Brian Wilkes and meteorologists from NWS Indianapolis and NWS Northern Indiana.
Find all the information on the symposium, including the registration form, cost, and directions at:

Anything you can do to get the word out through your respective amateur radio contacts would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Joe Nield
